The artist that did this drawing is called Raggatron, his real name is Kevin Edward Thompsan born and raised in America, Florida. He was inspired as a child growing up with art all around him and inspiration coming from all around him.
Like everyone he has his own technique, he likes to do draw scraps and drawings alot and then he will try to draw on all sorts of different canvas and he says that his most valuable technique and sucess to a good painting is to paint in layers and try and do section by section as he goes.

This is a painting by Elizabeth Roman an artist who is inspired by the street art and its approach and discontent of society, so she focuses alot of her work on that subject.
She uses a technique that you may or may not be familiar with, its called narrative painting she likes to paint a piece of work as uf sge were telling a story and to raise questions and awareness.

Pablo picasso was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he was one of the first people to use the cubist movement and make any sort of collage.
He has loads of different techniques he created pictures in drawing, watercolor, engraving, pastel, sculpture and ceramicsbut most of all out of all these techniques he preferred to use oil on canvas to do most of his work.

Research - how do artists visually record sources for inspiration

Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa in the early 1500s. The painting was off a women called Lisa Del Giocondo, the wife of a wealthy silk merchant. It is said that he painted her with no jewelery, objects such as a book or musical instrument, clothing embellishments, lace or fur or anything that would identify her to be upper class.
I think the reason he done this was one of many, he adored the women herself and thought she had a wonderful smile so he wanted to paint her as if she were a normal person of natural beauty, he used her as a muse.

This is a painting by the artist Van Gogh, he painted it it paris 1887.
It is a painting of a bunch of bright and withering sunflowers in a vase with a yellow background. He moved to paris in 1886 - 1888 where he met some impressionists, the Impressionist's use of light and color inspired Van Gogh on updating his own palette.
Which is one his main inspirations which also inspired him to do paintings like these sunflowers, it is also a symbol of happines, which was a huge part of Van Goghs life.

1. A swan swimming in a misty lake, with white elegant feathers and the sun shining on its front side bringing out the feathers.






2. A tall tree with a dark blue sky behind it and surrounding it, rough branches all over the place.

3. A short small and messy tree with lots of branches, a small patch of green grass below aswell as the sun shining giving it a gloomy shadow.

4. A large tree with light blue sky and a hint of clouds in the background, the tree is covered with shoes hanging from each branch.

5. An urban/natural trees that look like an entrance or an archway to something amazing, the trees stand tall and wide.

6. A pigeon standing there with not a care in the world, and a patch of grass is where its heading to.

7. A close up of a beautiful flower planted in a bed, the petals look soft and harmless like feathers, the pink colour mixed with white really brings out its beauty.

8. A crumpled leaf laying in the green blades of grass, almost looks like a hand reaching out for something.

9. A seagull in mid flight with its wings spread wide as it flys away into the distance.

10. Two seagulls crossing eachother as they fly away, their wings wide and take off is perfect, they look like a pair of doves only bigger.

11. A trio of swans casually floating in the misty lake, the sun is shining on them and the water is glistening with reflections.

12. A piece of bark so innocently laying there on a blank canvas of stone.

13. A trees leafy branches hanging from the top of a wall with a gloomy blue sky behind it.

14. A stone brick path with a lot of growth in between them.

15. A clear blue pond of water, the water is glistening and the sun is shining onto it.

19. A small patch of grass, with patches of mud where it has been warn down, lots of different coloured leafs surrounding it and a few twigs and sticks in the mix.



20. A mixture of different flowers, the red and pink flowers are surrounding the purple flowers in the middle making them stand out even more.

Secondary resources.

1. This is a close up picture of the rare Monteverde’s goleen toad found in costa rica, it shows its true colour and beauty with its legs spread wide.

2. This is a natural landscape in the swiss alps, its almost like looking in a mirror you can see the reflection of the amazing mountains through the clear lake. The snowy mountains in the further background fit right into this picture and make it look cool but chilled at the same time.

 3. A pair of trees almost look like there bound together, the sunset  beaming of the trees bark and fading into the distance, the clouds are covering the sky as it gets darker.





4.This is a rough river in the wilderederness surrounded by a valley of trees, nature and rocks on the edge of the rivers enbankedment, in the far distance you can see the outline of the mountains.

5. There is a huge blue sea going as far as the eye can see, and the tide is coming into the musty hills covered in dirt and sand.

6. As you can see a tiger diving into the water, probably hunting for a meal you can see his claws drawn and his teeth razor sharp with his rose red tounge sticking out ready to taste some fish.

7. A lion is cautiously watching the distance, he could be stalking his prey or even be aware of other predators in the area, he is standing proud with his fluffy main in a wild looking scenery.

8. A family of flamingos are stretching their legs in the shallow waters, some of them pink and some of them white, you can see their reflections in the clear blue water.

9. The blue ocean goes as far as the eye can see, with dolphins diving into the water with their families and casually swimming to wherever the seas take them.

10. A bear stood strong and tough with its brown fluffy fur and perky ears,  on a hill watching over its cubs as they play with eachother on the green grass.

11. Two rows of trees in a park are stood tall and more green then ever, sort of looks like they are swaying side to side and their leafs looking healthy and the tree itself looking strong.

12. A dark sky in a storm, with a ray of sun shining through, the winds are looking terrifying like a small tornado blowing away its surroundings.

13. Two swans are gently sitting on the water just casually floating with the mist in the back, and their faces just about touch and form a heart shape, with their perfect white complexion and piercing eyes.

14. A huge lake surrounded by nature, clear water reflecting the background with fluffy clouds and mountains in the background.

15. A birds eye view of an amazing island with clear blue waters and nature all around, clumps of trees also surrounded by sand.

16. A majestic jungle with trees and nature as far as the eye can see, vines coming from the trees and algie oozing from the stones and trees surroundings.

17. A misty mountain area, with growth coming from everywhere and one lone tree sprouting from the bottom with forests growing up the mountains.

18. This is an island covered in palm trees and clear blue water as far as the eye can see, the trees are waving in the wind and the sand is looking fine.

19. A forest area covered in small trees growing from the earth, and a small lake flowing through the rubble each side of it.




20. A small valley of trees strong and very tall, covered in flowers.
